anche mov è un contenitore che può avere anche l'h264..
cmq fai tutto in SD direttamente, soprattutto se hai problemi di spazio hd e hai un pc datato.
Montare video in formato compresso anche solo a 720 è un inferno se non hai un pc molto potente, o software CUDA con scheda video adeguata.
l'H264 lo devi usare SOLO sul rendering finale, ma vuol dire lavorare con filmati da 2-3gb al minuto circa...
Porta tutto a definizione standard e montalo in DVD... se no ti ci rovini il matrimonio
