guest account. Would it work if I signed into a PSN account for them?

ho provato anche con un account iscritto al psn

è una questione di condivisione dei file

non esiste account che li possa condividere
se non (forse) un sub account dello stesso che ha importato le immagini

a quanto vedo, come immaginavo, nemmeno sapevano del problema
o fanno i vaghi, il risultato è comunque lo stesso
