OFF THE BALL

PSM3 editor Dan Dawkins (that’s him in the header) has been on the boards to let everyone know that the PSM3 website will be offering a more in-depth and detailed look at PES 2010 on Saturday! And if that wasn’t enough, the planned Q&A session through twitter ( twitter.com/PSM3_Magazine ) with be held on Monday July 13th! Here’s what he had to say:
Thanks to everyone who bought the mag. Especially those who bought it twice
Check the www.psm3mag.com blog on Saturday after 12.00 lunchtime for a HUGE detail blowout, including loads of player stats, menu screen updates, new player cards etc etc - it’s everything we put in our notebook, that wouldn’t fit in the magazine. It’s probably a bit too hardcore for our wider readership, but it makes me oddly excited reading about the sub-permutations of the Change Formations menu.
Did you know Henry has the Cut Back Pass card, that you can toggle on/off? More like this on Saturday.
All being well, we’ll do the Twitter Q&A on Monday 13th, probably about 5pm. You can post your questions in the comments on Saturday’s blog if you want us to start answering them off the bat on Monday.
Thanks again for your support
Dan

TATTICHE COME VOLETE VOI
PROMESSE IN SOSPESO
MASTER LEAGUE, ONLINE e LICENZE

Testo nascosto - clicca qui PSM3's PES 2010 Hands-On: Uncut
11-Jul-2009 Warning: for die-hard fans only. Hardcore details, data and impressions ahead + new screens
Slower. More painstaking. Less goals. That's how PES 2010 hopes to steal the critical high ground from EA's FIFA 10. Sounds unlikely? It'll make sense when you read our exclusive PES 2010 hands-on, plus exclusive development team interview, in PSM3#116 on-sale now for £4.99 at all good newsagents - but we've been holding some juicy information back. Until now...
There's ten pages of revealing Pro Evo 2010 hands-on insight in the mag, but we still had to cut out some interesting, if niche, new details; including player stats, menu options and data, that - as gently obsessive fans - make us oddly excited.
The following are offcuts from our notebook that didn't make the magazine, partly because they're a little too hardcore for less committed Pro Evo players, partly because we ran out of space. Here goes...
PES 2010 Menu Options
The code we played was a controlled, two-team, demo, with only Exhibition matches active, but the main menu currently contains the following blanked out options:
UEFA Champions League
Exhibition
Master League
Become A Legend
League/Cup
Community
Online
Training
Edit
Gallery
System Settings
Exit
The menu screens are - we must stress - placeholder, but the main menu options are currently arranged in a circle (a bit like the outline of a ball, as recall it). The overall visual style resembles a match ticket, or match day programme - relaying a real 'fan' feel.
Music
Currently, there's no licensed music, but lots of generic menu tunes in classic PES style, from genres such as House, Techno, New Rave and Indie. One track was literally labelled New-Rave, Tech Funk.
When we asked Konami Japan how the music would change, they simply replied 'There will be more variety'.
Edit Player Position - bias arrows
When you edit a player's position, we couldn't find the traditional eight way arrows (where you can highlight two of eight directions as the player's preferred areas of movement). Perhaps this has been removed so the tactical sliders (see the magazine) are more powerful. They were pretty obscure/confusing for the mass market, so that might be another reason for their removal. This is only our speculation, mind you, so don't be shocked if the arrows return - we just couldn't find them in the current code.
Player stats are position-specific
PES 2010 features an accurately rendered version of Liverpool's home stadium Anfield. Note the new 3D crowds.
All players have a 'top line' stat, just like FIFA, so, say, Gerrard has an overall score of 96, Torres 80, Agger 74 etc. Don't worry - the traditional stats for individual attributes like short pass acc, dribbling, balance etc are still visible, but the 'top line' stat makes it easier for newcomers to judge their best players.
When you move a player into an unfamiliar position, their stats will be adjusted accordingly. e.g. Benayoun is 78 AMF, 63 CMF and 47 DMF - which makes sense, since this smaller, skillful player would be better deployed 'in the hole' up front, and not as a holding player in deep midfield. Utility players like Gerrard suffer much less when moved out of their prefered position, making squad utility players even more important to cover for key injuries.
Man Marking
When you set a player to man mark the opposition, you can compare their top line stats and - handily - height, so you don't put a tiny defender up against a huge forward by mistake. You can also toggle between Loose/Tight marking.
Match menus
As it stands, and this may change, the in-game Pause menu has the same options as PES 2009. It's the same at half-time, too, with familiar Match Details and Highlights options.
Player celebrations
There are more player-specific goal celebrations, the most memorable we saw being Torres' thumb sucking motion.
Streamlined VS matches
When you go into a game and choose VS. Player (i.e. two-player), you no longer need to move the pads either side of the screen like in PES 2009 - the game assumes you want a two-player match and goes straight to the 'Kick Off' menu. Don't worry - you can still manually adjust the pads for two-player co-op matches in the Pause menu. It's simply a more intuitive way to enter a quick two-player VS match.
There's a VS.Com option for going straight into Human vs CPU games.
PES 2010's new pack star, Fernando Torres, demonstrates the incredible new in-game likenesses.
There's a Custom option for multi-player matches, with two or more human players.
The Exhibition menu
Has six options:
Team Select
Stadium
Kick Off!
Game Plan (i.e. where you adjust tactics, players etc)
Uniform
Options
Condition Arrows
Are the same as ever. Five arrows, from Excellent (Red), to Normal (Green) and Terrible (a dull purple/grey colour).
The Game Plan menu
It's the equivalent of the old formations/tactics menu, with the following options:
Match Start
Assist Setting
Change Player
Set Formation
Tactics
Setplay Settings
Data Management
We'll go through the new menus, and changes, one by one:
Assist Setting
Contains simple sliders where you can adjust broad brush issues, such as
Change Player (0, 1, 2, 3) - which allows you to automatically choose your formation based on Ability/Balanced/Condition, or None (0). It's like the old auto-select feature, but easier to understand. The option to 'Balance' your team is new, and the computer will pick the best team allowing for player ability *and* condition e.g. it might still pick Gerrard, even if he's on a slightly downward sloping condition arrow, since he is still a key player, but would not pick a less important player, like Kuyt, if his condition was poor - as it says, it's all about balance.
Change Formation (0, 1, 2, 3) - Set your team to play broadly Centre Attack, Side Attack or None.
Auto-form change (On/Off)
Change Game Plan (0, 1, 2, 3) - None (0), Normal type (1), Balanced (2) or (3) Special type. This affects the way you change tactics 'on the fly' in-game, but we didn't experiment with it. You can still assign mid-match strategy changes to L2 and combinations of square, circle etc etc
Auto Tactics (0, 1, 2, 3)
Change Player
Players are colour coded...
Brown - GK
Blue - Defence
Green - Midfield
Red - Attack
You can see a player's preferred foot via an on-screen outline of their feet, plus there's a little visual representation of their height - a generic body outline next to a 'ruler' e.g. 188cm
Players have an overall 'top line' rating to reflect their ability, just like FIFA - which makes it easier when comparing players head-to-head. Don't worry - the normal individual stats still exist, but the 'top line' score is just a quick visual indicator.
Here are some example scores from the Liverpool team in early PES 2010 code:
Reina 73
Hypia 81
Agger 74
Skrtel 71
Carragher 71
Gerrard 96
Alonso 78
Kuyt 77
Riera 81
Benayoun 78
Torres 80
Mascherano 88
N'Gog 59
It's worth noting that this 'top line' score changes if you play someone out of position, for example Hypia's score of 81 plummets if you play him as CF.
How is the 'top line' score worked out?
There's no official word from Japan, but we'll perform an experiment by taking Gerrard's individual stats, and taking an average.
Steven Gerrard
Attack 87
Defence 70
Body Balance 88
Stamina 87
Top Speed 84
Acceleration 78
Response 82
Agility 77
Dribble Accuracy 80
Dribble Speed 83
Header 75
Short Pass Accuracy 88
Jump 72
Short Pass Speed 98
Technique 82
Long Pass Accuracy 95
Long Pass Speed 97
Shot Accuracy 81
Shot Power 96
Shot Technique 83
FK Accuracy 82
Swerve 75
If you add these up, and divide by the number of attributes 1840/22 = 83.6
So since Gerrard's actual score is 96, this number can't be a pure average, but must take into account other stats that aren't measured as 1-100. e.g. Aggression, Mentality, Team Work, Condition, Weak Foot Accuracy, Weak Foot Frequency etc
More importantly, the 'top line' score must take into account a player's unique abilities, previously know as ability stars, but now known as the 'Ability Card' system.
Gerrard's 'cards' are:
Balance
Quick Turn
Long Ranger
Free Roaming
Reaction
1-touch play
Outside Curve
Which must push his 'top line' score from 84 to 96 - we're not sure how this is worked out (this is just an experiment), but it demonstrates that player ability cards play a key role.
Benayoun's Ability Cards:
Balance
Passer
Outside Curve
Long Throw
Footed
Scoop Kick
Torres:
Balance
Goal Poacher
Reaction
1-on-1 finisher
Outside Curve
Footed
Messi:
Mazing Run
Incisive Run
1-on-1
Scoop Kick
Scissors
Footed
Outside Curve
Henry (not a full list, but he has the interesting new cards below):
Cut Back Pass
Edge Turn
Eto'o: (ditto: not a complete list, but some of the interesting ones include)
Dummy Run
Chasing Back
Iniesta: (ditto)
Super Sub
All Out Attack
(For more details on ability cards, see PSM3#116)
Set Formation
This menu contains the options:
Edit Position
Change Formation
Mark Settings
CARD
There's a host of default formations, as usual, including 4312, 4213, 442, 4411, 451, 4123 etc
CARD - this option allows you to toggle card abilities on/off. Once again, see PSM3#116 for a detailed explanation.
The effect of each card is demonstrated by the player's movement (represented by moving dots) on the overhead tactics pitch view above the lower menu. For example, you can see the Torres' dot move to break the defensive line when you activate the Goal Poacher dot.
Tactics
There's a lot more on this in PSM3#116, with detailed analysis of the tactics sliders, so we'll focus on what we had to leave out.
Strategy
You can still manually assign 'on the fly' tactics changes to the shoulder/face buttons e.g. press L2 and circle to perform a counter attack/pressure/CB Overlap/Offside Trap etc, depending on what buttons you assign.
Setplay Settings
The options are the same as usual, but they're listed in a long vertical list to make it easier to see who's assigned to what duty.
Camera Types
From what we've seen, they're the same as ever, and we played in classic 'Wide' view.
Exhaustive. You bet. We're at least gently obsessed with Pro Evo 2010. To read our early hands-on verdict, don't miss PSM3#116, on-sale now.
To buy PSM3#116 online for the same price as the shops - but with delivery included to your front door, visit the Gamesradar online shop here
Have a great weekend

PESFan playtest PES2010 at Konami HQ
As many of you will be aware, PESFan were invited by Konami down to their London headquarters for an early play test of PES 2010 late last month. With only select members of the press and PES community sites in attendance, it was a great opportunity for a hands-on taste of the new game after hearing so much about it.
Due to the timing of the conference, the game was still only in the early stages of development meaning many features of the final game, such as the much hyped Master League and Online modes, weren’t available for testing. When later versions of the game are developed, PESFan will be sure to test them out rigorously!
For those that like their numbers, the game on show was roughly 50% complete and featured most of the new gameplay elements that have been hyped up in the press releases. We played the same version that PSM3 tested, so the only teams that were on offer were Barcelona and Liverpool.
The first thing that struck many was the improved graphics of the game. The screenshots released of Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres by Konami are certainly accurate representations of what they look like in the game. No rendering or Photoshop going on there. The overall look of the game is much improved with great attention to detail, both on and off the pitch. Individual player appearances and expressions looked better than ever, this was especially noticeable when zooming in on the replays. Although all the players on this game were big names it was still easy to tell who was who, with birthmarks and scars all accurately recreated. The shirts looked realistic thanks to the creasing system we’ve seen on display in the screenshots so far, and untucked shirts are definitely in the game. Sure to please many, the much maligned goalkeeper gloves (which resembled oven gloves more than anything in the last few games) looked spot on and the nets rippled nicely when the ball hit them.
Around the ground things have also improved. Anfield, appearing for the first time on a next-gen console and as a licensed stadium, looked stunning in the sunlight with shadows cast by the stands putting the pitch in the shade. The crowd is now 3D; there aren’t 35,000 of them but truth be told you barely see them when playing the game. The concrete blocks at the base of the netting have also been removed at long last, replaced with more realistic plastic tubing, but the actual nets looks the same. There was only the one stadium on show, so other stadiums may yet have different net styles. Overall, the graphics have again been turned up a notch and PES 2010 looks like one the best looking sports game on the market.
The menu system has once again changed dramatically. Out goes the pop-art style of PES 2009 and in comes a slicker, modern style which looks infinitely better. You can see for yourself in the screenshots what I mean. One slight bug bear of mine from PES 2009 has been fixed. The PES 2009 team selection screen wasn’t the best when trying to determine who was capable of playing in which position as the light green colour was hard to distinguish from the grey background. In PES 2010, it’s clear to see who can play where.
One small addition is the fact players now have an overall stat to allow users to quickly judge their ability. The hexagon diagram is still there for those that prefer the graphical representation, as well as all the individual attributes from past games. For a full break down on the contents of the team selection screen, check out the PSM3 blog which comprehensively covers all the various options.
The animation system has been a huge flaw in the past few games, PES 2009 was an improvement over the ice skating superstars of PES 2008 but still didn’t look right on a next gen console. The animations did look smoother in this version of the game, but due to the early nature of the code it’s hard to give a definitive opinion with several of the animations still being programmed. Early signs are positive though. One portion of animations which did look markedly better was the first touch of a player. Controlling the ball looked smoother when the player took the ball on his stronger foot, as they were able to instantly take command over the ball. When forced to use his weaker foot, he needed to take a touch to bring the ball under control. On display in one of the screenshots released today is Torres controlling the ball with his chest, this again looked better than before with the more skilled players able to quickly bring the ball under control.
Off the ball, there were a few nice little animations to make the game look more realistic. The player calling for the ball with their arm animation is still in the game, along with a new one where the player will turn their head to look around for opponents when making a run. The players also seem more interested in the ball, with heads and eyes focused on the ball when crosses are being whipped into the box or during a midfield scrap.
Another small change is the addition of a glowing symbol on the radar to help the player identify where the ball is and which player is under control. This was in the previous PES games but only now makes its return.
On to the most important part now; the gameplay. The game plays at a slower pace which helps give the game more of a simulation grounding, rather than the fast arcade games we’ve been accustomed to. Hopefully the game is kept at this pace during the later stages of development and for the final retail release. This slower pace helps give the game more of a tactical approach with dribbling now much harder than before. Players who have become reliant on the likes of Messi and Eto’o being able to run trough the whole team will have to adapt quickly as defenders are more intelligent when tackling, and the improved animations make it near impossible for a player to turn 90o at full speed.
Despite the slower pace, this doesn’t mean you have any more time on the ball. Midfielders will press you while you’re in possession forcing you into mistakes, and defenders are quicker to close down open spaces. In this demo, Mascherano was quick to pressure you when in possession. This is where a couple of the new features come into play to help you break opponents down.
The strategy gauges have been talked about many times in the press releases as a way to break teams down and change the game in your favour. Some more time playing around with these and using teams of different abilities will give a better opinion on the effectiveness of this but early signs are positive. Like reported by PSM, sticking gauges to their extremes will radically change the way a team operates and how they position themselves on the pitch. Konami say each team will have individually tailored gauges to reflect their real life playing style, so certain teams will park the bus while other teams look to hit you on the counter.
The strategy gauges are an extension of the existing strategies in the game and offer the player more control over the movement of their AI team mates. The gauges can be adjusted on sliders between 0-100, with 0 being the least and 100 the most. Team style sliders can be used to on both the defensive and attacking sides of the game.
Attacking strategies
●Player Support
When set to 100, your teammates around the player in possession move upfield to receive a pass. In other words, your teammates will place themselves in more attacking positions. Contrary, when set to 0, your teammates tend to stay behind of the ball holder and place themselves in more defensive positions.
●Support Range
When set to 0, your teammates try and use the entire width of the pitch. Naturally this is good for long passing and spreading play but not for short passes. When set to 100, your teammates get closer to the ball holder, making short passes easy.
●Position Switch
When set to 0, players try to get back to their assigned positions quickly rather than trying to stay in a switched position. When set to 100, once a position is switched, the player keeps playing on in the switched position until the ball goes out of play.
●Attacking style
When set to 0, the team plays with the wide men as the main creators of opportunities. When set to 100, the team attacks through the middle of the pitch. Teams without natural width would have their gauge set at a high value.
Defence strategies
●Pressing
When set to 100, your team as a whole apply pressure aggressively, rushing players in possession forcing them into mistakes. When set to 0, the players will stand off and try to delay the oppositions attack.
●Defensive Line
When set to 100, the defensive line will be kept high. When set to 0, your defensive line will drop back. This is one of the more important sliders as if affects the others.
●Compactness
When set to 0, your teammates will move away from the opposition ball holder and cover the wide areas of the pitch. When set to 100, your teammates will get closer to opposition ball holder and try to keep his options limited.
●Defensive Strategy
There is a choice of 2 options. One is Line defence and the other is Covering defence, where one defender left for covering other defenders.
When controlled by the AI, Liverpool and Barcelona did seem to play like their real life counterparts, with Barcelona flowing forward and Liverpool playing a more patient approach, happy to play the ball around. In game, you can quickly change the strategies but this wasn’t on show in the version played.
The other major new feature is the card system which replaces the special ability stars. This sounds a little strange at first, but used correctly it can affect the way your team operates for the better. The cards have been developed by Konami to mimic footballers’ individualities and add an extra dimension of realism to the AI and strategies.
There are two types of card. Some cards are skill cards, and others affect the behaviour of a player, both attacking and defensive. These cards can be turned on or off depending on how you want to play the game. In short, a card represents a move for a player. Different from traditional skills, these cards can be assigned to any player. A player’s ability doesn’t suddenly increase when a card is assigned. His ability remains the same as before but the player now knows when and how to move into good position.
Suppose you are controlling a player, and there’s a player in support with the “Earlycrosser” card assigned. As you go forward, the card assigned player will escape from his markers, and position himself better for sending an early cross. Now he is in a good position, you want to pass it to the player because he is in a position where he is able to send an early cross. Once the ball is played to him, the card has nothing to do with quality of the cross. It will be down to your control and the player’s ability that decides the quality of the cross. Again, this card doesn’t enhance player abilities. This card controls how he moves in certain situations.
Another example is Dani Alves, who is famous for his attacking runs down the right flank for Barcelona and Brazil. He is assigned “Overlapping run” by default. When the card is set to ON, he always looks to go forward leaving space behind him. Setting the Card to OFF will limit his attacking runs and make Alves operate as a standard fullback. If Barcelona had a player sent off, keeping his card “On” means that he still wants to go forward. What do you think? Attack is the best defence? Or do you go defensive to secure a win? Depending on your choice, his card may be switched off.
Here is the reason why you have a choice of switching the card off. You can act as the manager; decide on player moves by switching the cards on and off. It’s your choice whether or not to turn off attacking cards when you want the team play defensively. In contrast, you may want to turn off defensive cards when you want more men upfront in search of a goal. Cards will increase strategic options, giving you more flexibility in many situations.
Some cards you will only see the benefit of when the AI is controlling the player. Messi for example is assigned the “Incisive run” card. You will not see any effect while you are controlling Messi, but when the CPU controls Messi, you’ll see him sprint into the box as he does in real match.
Skill cards like “Quick Turn” and “1 on 1 Finish” will only be given to the best players and directly affects how they perform on the ball.
Moving on from cards and gauges, playing a player out of position will now have a drastic effect on their performance. Like in Football Manager, playing someone out of position will see them only play in a limited capacity, with major stat drops when played in totally the wrong position on the field. This is aimed at creating a more realistic experience and to stop the cheap tactics that some players use online. Benayoun for example when deployed at right back will only have a stat rating on 19. Utility players will suffer less from a positional switch.
Penalties have finally been changed with direction and power now more important in deciding where the ball ends up. Unlike the pot luck system PES has been using for some time now, holding the power button down for a long time will see penalties blazed over the bar and too much direction could see the ball pass the wrong side of the post. Another welcome change is the removal of automatic computer actions, which has seen many controllers broken after the COM decides to slide tackle the opposition striker in the box. Thankfully, no automatic slide tackles or clearances were seen during the playtest and Konami say they have been removed from the game.
One more positive note is the goalkeepers seem to better at handling shots. A couple of shots were still split by Valdes and Reina but on the whole they did look better during this brief showcase.
After the playtest had finished, the Konami staff gathered plenty of feedback from PESFan and the other community sites in attendance, WENB and PES Gaming, and the press ready to send to Japan for analysis. As a result, hopefully some of the slight niggles brought up will be removed and a couple of brief suggestions will be implemented.
Even though this version of PES 2010 was still a long way off finished, the signs are encouraging. Some of the major drawbacks of PES 2009 are being addressed and several new features will give the game a new lease on life. Add this to the overhauled Master League and ‘lagless’ online gaming, the King may indeed return come October.
- There was only the one stadium on show, so other stadiums may yet have different net styles.
- Overall, the graphics have again been turned up a notch and PES 2010 looks like one the best looking sports game on the market.
Addirittura .
- The hexagon diagram is still there for those that prefer the graphical representation, as well as all the individual attributes from past games
- On to the most important part now; the gameplay.
- When controlled by the AI, Liverpool and Barcelona did seem to play like their real life counterparts, with Barcelona flowing forward and Liverpool playing a more patient approach, happy to play the ball around. In game, you can quickly change the strategies but this wasn’t on show in the version played.
- Some cards you will only see the benefit of when the AI is controlling the player. Messi for example is assigned the “Incisive run” card. You will not see any effect while you are controlling Messi, but when the CPU controls Messi, you’ll see him sprint into the box as he does in real match.

- squadra giovanile dove poter seguire i talenti
- valuta in euro

Vedremo.. [Modificato da weILL 27/07/2009 17:51] |

PES lead developers to attend Gamescom show
Both of PES' leading developers, Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka and Akiyoshi ‘Greyhound’ Chosokabe will be in attendance at the Gamescom trade show in Germany in August.
Konami had already announced that PES 2010 would be on show to the public for the first time at the event, but news coming out today confirms that the men in charge of PES will both be attending the show as well. Seabass has long been known to fans as the man behind PES and Greyhound has recently come to prominence with PES on the Wii.
Konami will be presenting a further world premiere with PES 2010. The new game has been developed following months of listening to feedback from fan forums and advice from PES players. Consequently PES Producer Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka will be visiting gamescom to introduce the results of this unique collaboration to visitors and fans. Seabass is promising to European players that new PES 2010 will be the most realistic and satisfying PES to date.
A few weeks ago Konami announced the Wii version of PES 2010 will be released in the autumn, shortly after the versions for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD. PES Wii Fans will be delighted that Producer Akiyoshi ‘Greyhound’ Chosokabe will also make his way to Cologne to present key advances in the game including new gameplay and advanced graphical elements.
“Visitors of this year’s gamescom will get the unique chance to meet Konami´s greatest talents from Overseas and Europe,” commented Martin Schneider, European Marketing and PR Director for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “Likewise, for Konami´s developers this event marks a fascinating opportunity to discuss their games with their European fans and get firsthand feedback. Konami will be showing a line up of diversity and innovation at Europe´s premier gaming event.”
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will attend gamescom from August 19th – 23rd and can be found in hall 7.1, booth C30. Further details and a precise time schedule concerning the developer´s presentations on the Konami stage show will be announced shortly.

PES 2010: I Tricks tornano sui tasti dorsali (30/07/2009)

Salve a tutti

www.naturalmotion.com/products.htm

Content Packed Next Week
We’ve got a jam packed schedule next week guys, jam packed. Starting on Monday at 10am, we’ll be posting both our in-depth PES2010 preview and the Q&A session we’ve been working 0n (filled with answers to a tonne of questions you’ve been asking).
There’ll also be our Master League play test article on Tuesday. My ML season is going terribly, but the mode itself is coming along nicely, expect as much info as we can provide on the 18th.
On the 19th, we’ll be releasing some further information straight from the mouth of favourite fish-man, Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka, when he’ll be giving his live presentation at Gamescom. What this means, we don’t quite know, but be assured you’ll find out as soon as we do.
Depending how good you’ve been this year there might even be a few surprises in store, as well as more of your questions being answered on both our twitter and the constantly updated Q&A thread at various points right throughout the week.
Phew. Sounds like a lot. That’s because it is! And all you have to do in making sure you never miss a single part of it is to check back regularly all week long - right here on PESFan.

18.08.2009
PES 2010
Fever Pitch
Hi All.
I'm struggling to find time to blog at the moment, but here goes.
I've been back to meet with the WEP team in Japan. Partly to record some interviews, which we'll be sharing soon and partly to talk about the latest code. Not much I can say about the game that isn't top secret, but all will be revealed this week around the Gamescom show in Cologne. I can say we've got some awesome improvements lined up, all of which are as a direct result of fan feedback. I hope you'll be as gob-smacked as I've been. The game will also be playable at the show so look out for reaction from the press.
We've also been completing various shoots with players and fans. I've winners of the PES Star competition to feature in the PES2010 ad campaign. Have a look at some of the pics. For me the most interesting thing has been how Torres and Messi both want input into the game - they're both desperate to start playing too. Hopefully I'll be able to get some shots or video of that happening.
Got to sign off now, but I'll try to report back from Gamescom. As you might have heard Seabass and Greyhound will be there giving
presentations and interviews so watch out for those.
Cheers,
Jon.
