“PES 2010 demo to hit September 17th
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced it is to release a playable demo of its eagerly-awaited PES 2010 on September 17th.
The free download will be available to PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC users, and showcases the full game’s Exhibition mode.
Users can select from Liverpool, or Barcelona, or the Spanish, Italian, French and German national sides. The selected sides can then be played against the CPU or a friend in a five-minute match.
PES 2010 is released for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD on October 23rd”

Enhancements and the free download demo release
Hello everyone.
I'm Tadaaki Tsunashima, the director in charge of development of game systems.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce (or re-affirm)
improvements on which I have worked, though some of them have been already announced. I think you'll have easily noticed the graphical improvements we've made, but the game has been enhanced in many other aspects too.
The UEFA Champions League has been implemented into the Master League and also Become a Legend as per fan requests. In these modes you can also play in the UEFA Europa League, which has been newly implemented. The Master League has also been thoroughly enhanced. Managerial aspects have been implemented and thus the mission is not only to win matches but also to successfully run your club to earn money and strengthen your squad in the long run. I believe this additions should lend more reality to the mode.
I have also added the Community mode, where statistics of the matches you have played with your friends can be accumulated. In this mode each match you play with your friends will be more important and exciting. I would recommend using Community mode every time you play with your friends.
I have also improved the edit function. The slots for photos have been increased and you can now choose tucked-in or untucked shirts for each player.
I would also like you to enjoy the warp/lag-free online matches! It's
taken us some time, but I think we've finally come up with the solution to great online play.
Lastly, a free download demo will be available for download on PS3, X360 and PC on the 17th of this month. Get your hands on the demo and feel the brand-new gameplay!

Uscita la patch per prolungare il tempo di gioco (10 15 20 25....minuti) e aumentare la risoluzione. Ovviamente per la versione PC..
Aggiunge anche i rigori a fine partita se questa finisce in pareggio

OPM Interview Seabass In New Issue
The new issue of OPM, released September 29th, has a page interview with Seabass that should get PES fans very excited. One of the questions put to the PES creator was regarding the work going into PES between now and launch, and as you can see from the header Seabass claims he’s still tweaking the game. He goes on to mention how feedback is still being implemented, and when the game hits it should be refined a great deal compared to what everyone is playing now.
This goes hand-in-hand with the fact that the magazine still has no review of the game yet, even though by the time the next issue hits the game will be out. I have a feeling it’s down to the fact they wanted to see the finished game before giving it a score.
And rightly so.
Allora, OfficialPlaystationMagazine in uscita il 29 settembre in UK ha sulle sue pagine un'intervista con Seabass, il quale afferma che (e lo si può leggere dall'intestazione) ha ancora tempo per affinare ulteriormente il gioco.
Dice che stanno ancora lavorando all'implementazione dei feedback, e che quando il gioco arriverà nei negozi sarà cosi' rifinito che farà sentire la differenza se comparato a ciò che stiamo giocando oggi (con la demo).
Questo va a braccetto col fatto che la rivista ancora non ha fatto la sua recensione. Probabilmente proprio perchè aspettano la versione finale per esprimere un giudizio definitivo su PES2010.
E questo è più o meno quello che si dice nell'articolo.
In effetti poi se consideriamo il solito discorso del gioco pronto un mese prima fa strano che siamo al 25 settembre e per quanto manchino meno di 30 giorni al 22 ottobre, ancora non sia uscita la notizia della fase gold del gioco..

PESFan 2010 Review - 15th October
With work more or less finished on the game, save a bit of spit and polish for the final touches, anticipation is high to find out exactly what’s changed between the demo and review versions of PES 2010.
Well fear not, for the wait is almost over. On October 15th the online press embargo is lifted, with thoughts and opinions being made available around the world.
And the bright lights of PESFan towers are no exception. On the day we'll be publishing our very own in-depth review of the final game, including some extra insights from two of the UK's best players. We've also been hard at work recording high definition video footage for use on and after the 15th, so stay tuned for that too.
It's not until the week after on October 23rd that you'll get to test the full game out for yourselves, so I'm afraid you'll just have to settle for our own opinions until then. But it's okay - our opinions are always right.

Poi dice praticamente che l'embargo finisce il 15 ottobre, e sarà quindi quello il giorno dove i siti, compresi loro, diranno la loro sul gioco. Quelli di PESFan faranno una recensione molto approfondita includendo anche alcune intuizioni da parte di due dei migliori players del Regno Unito.

PES 2010 Demo newsflash
Guys
I am very pleased to be able to inform everyone that Seabass has come forward to state that the PES demo that caused quite a stir is not based on finished code.
This news will come as a huge relief for many who feared it was the final version.
Seabass is due to release a blog with full details shortly, so sit tight secure with the knowledge that the finished game will player a better game.

PES 2010-Demo
Hi everyone.
I'm really busy at the moment, but I thought I'd make a quick blog entry now the demo has been released.
Firstly, thanks for taking the time to download and try PES2010. We didn't have as much time as we'd have liked to work on it because
our priority has been making as many improvements and implementing as many new features into the game itself. However, you should now have a better idea of some of the changes to gameplay.
I'd like to suggest that if you have PES2009 to go back and spend a little time playing that before having a few more games on PES2010. That way you should really be able to see and feel which areas have improved. I'm confident you'll appreciate those changes. Of course you'll have to wait for the final version before you get a really good idea of the improvements. We'll be waiting for your feedback!

Vi suggerirei se avete PES2009 di tornare indietro e passarci un pò di tempo, prima di tornare a giocare a PES2010. In questo modo dovreste veramente essere capaci di vedere e sentire in quali aree è stato migliorato. Sono fiducioso che apprezzerete quei cambiamenti. Naturalmente dovrete aspettare la versione finale prima di avere un chiara idea dei miglioramenti. Aspetteremo i vostri feedback!

Along with the players and media at this weekend’s European PES Championships in France was Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka, with PESFan among those that had the opportunity to sit down with the legendary producer at a roundtable event on Saturday.
He asked various members of the press about their feelings on the way the series should be taken. Part of the discussion involved PES 2010’s inclusion of tactical sliders, and why such a feature was chosen for the new game.
“Seabass: We introduced the sliders because it almost equals the manager’s ability to combat an opposition team’s best players. When you think of Chelsea against Barcelona in the Champions League, Hiddink really knew how to stop Messi being effective, and we wanted to implement that sort of thing in the game with the slider system.
We tried to counter the top players being too good, not by simply weakening the individual strength of the player, but by enhancing the overall elements of the team play. How the team can stop one good individual player - that’s a very managerial aspect of the game, and it’s now possible to some extent with the introduction of the sliders.”
Seabass also spoke briefly about the defensive overhauls in PES 2010, specifically the introduction of zonal marking.
“Seabass: The score lines of the previous versions were really high, which is rare in real matches, so we thought that the defence must be really enhanced. To strike a balance, we thought the introduction of the zonal defence was quite perfect, and we’ve been pleased with the results so far in the much more realistic score lines that have been happening when playing PES 2010”
He went on to reaffirm how community feedback, especially in the past year, is really having an impact on the development process of the series.

Seabass Speaks About The Demo
Hi everyone.
I spent the weekend with fans in Nice at the PES European Championships. In addition to holding the tournament we also gave press and fans the chance to see final code and give us feedback.
As we've said before our process of listening, learning and improving is on-going.
Whilst I was at the event, several people asked me about the demo code which we recently released. I think this situation has got a little confused, so I want to explain things clearly.
The demo code is slightly different to the final version. Improvements have since been made to the ball physics and consequently the game speed has been reduced. Ideally we would have liked to release a version based 100% on final code, but we were making changes right up until the end.
Sorry for the confusion. I hope you give the final code a try to
experience what we believe is the best PES to date.
